Internet: It is basically a network of tens of thousands of computer networks. Every network on these networks exchange information according to certain rules called protocols. Two Protocols used or working with the internet are Internet Protocol or IP and Transmission control protocol or TCP, usually known as TCP/IP. It enables the computer to talk the net's language. It also needs to have knowledge about your IP address and the server's address so as to convert the name of domain names into IP address and establish a connection. All the commonly used internet softwares like web browsers, newsreaders and mail clients often rely on this for conversing.
