..a need for help..!!

A very good friend of mine is protesting against the same.. I really wanted to share *the truth of life* with all of you and ill request if anyone wishes to help..the details are down the post..thanks..!! There are nights when the wolves are silent and only the moon howls and one such night was Monday when Kali, an eight year old female Indian Street Dog was brutally robbed off her life at JNU Campus, New Delhi Kali never knew any comforts because eight years ago she was born and raised on the unforgiving streets by a doting mother called Leela that gave birth to her in the bushy interiors near Kaveri Hostel on JNU Campus. They suffered the cold of the winter and the heat of the summer and had little to eat but yet they were happy. Little Kali would often be bullied and stoned by the rogue and rowdy boys of Kaveri hostel yet she never complained and would quickly forget her bruises and tormentors to go foraging with Leela to the nearest dumpster. Years went by and life was sailing ...

Education Vs. knowledge

Thursday, March 29, 2007 5:25 PM Education ends at college knowledge ends with life... ...mohandas karmchand gandhi Well this is one of most favorite quotes...as it reflects my strong views on the educational system in our society...with according to me is defunct...pathetic....and useless... My reasons is that i don't believe in education...i believe in knowledge...these 2 things may appear quite similar...but there is a hell lot of difference education n. 1 systematic instruction. 2 particular kind of or stage in education (a classical education; further education). 3 development of character or mental powers. educational adj. educationally adv. knowledge n. 1 a (usu. foll. by of) awareness or familiarity (of or with a person or thing) (have no knowledge of that). b person's range of information. 2 a (usu. foll. by of) understanding of a subject etc. (good knowledge of Greek). b sum of what is known (every branch of knowledge). to my knowledge as far as I know. Well......

The Story of My Musings -why its being

"I was watching this movie, and a feeling came from inside, that i should shut down this blog.We can form several interpretations of this but thats the truth." I gave this reason to Pankhuri,as she pestered me, why are you deleting your blog? Is it for those third rate people who insulted you? Now i am going to explain in detail, the real story... Why i have to kill this something so close to my heart. First let me switch on the songs from film vishwatma. Saat samundar paar...LOvely song...ANyways... This blog was a sacred place you can say. This blog has given me so much.Gave me the confidence to send my articles to newspapers. 2 out of 3 times they published them. With colored pictures. And other so many things... But then these people come and defame the honor of a a man, who has nothing else to value as honor or dignity.I have no attachments for materialism or love or friendships.I have seen loads of pains and suffering. Once i remember, i had to hurry up and reach...

Indian Captive

I have decided to write about a book called the Indian captives written by Lios Lenski.I read this book few months ago during my leisure and I should say that it is one of the few books which really impressed and inspired me.Lios Lenski once again proved that she was the master in writing stories and it can be seen from the popularity of her book"The Strawberry girl" published in mid 1930's.The Indian Captives is related to the life of Mary Jemison also called as Molly and her struggle with the Seneca Red Indian tribes.Mary was a young girl(aged 15 yrs when she was captured)captured by Seneca Indians from her family’s farm in eastern Pennsylvania. After a long journey by foot with her kidnappers, Molly is sold to two sisters, Shining Star and Squirrel Woman, as a replacement for their brother who was killed in battle. The two women begin to introduce Seneca life to Molly, but she is broken-hearted in her new situation, and attempts to run away. The two women begin to...

Save Tiger Campaign

Wednesday, February 27, 2008 4:28 PM There isn't much need for me to explain to the readers that wildlife in India is on the verge of extinction.Fellow blogger sam very well wrote about this problem in his post called call of the wild I think there are many ways we can help, and one idea can be participating in the save the tiger campaign started by media giant NDTV. I would suggest every reader participate in this campaign, and also take inspiration from sam's words and inspire others.I feel this is the least we can do, and in our own small little way we can really make a change So Please, Spare few minutes of your to save lives of the endangered species. Thank you Happy Blogging!!!
