Let’s raise more than just monthly rent—let’s uplift the vibe too! This article guides real estate owners through identifying low‑energy signals (like late payments or difficult tenants), powerful Vastu rituals (rice offerings, citrus washes, lemon corners), and how aligning energy can justify rental increases. Plus, I’ll show you how to book your Property Energy Reset Ritual to boost income and attract top tenants.

How can you spot signs of waning energy in your property?
I always begin by asking landlords to step back—to really feel the space. Is it sluggish? Just like a plant wilts without proper sunlight, properties lose vitality too. And this usually starts showing up.Secondly, constant damage or maintenance issues isn’t always about wear and tear. Maybe it’s energetic stagnation—things break because the environment isn’t balanced. For instance, one client of mine had a leaking faucet in the guest bathroom—no one used it often, but the leak persisted until we realigned the water‑zone.
Thirdly, problem tenants who are combative, emotionally turbulent, or just plain low‑vibe—they reflect the space’s current frequency. I once had an investor renting to a rowdy occupant whose mood swings jolted other residents. A property with the wrong energetic signature attracts the wrong people.
By noticing these three signs, landlords can see early-warning indicators: late rent, weird breakages, and personality clashes.
How does a property energy reset ritual work—and why book one?
So here’s a story that still gives me goosebumps.
About a year ago, I visited a rental flat in North Goa. The landlord, Riya, a savvy woman in her late 30s, called me with a mix of curiosity and frustration. Her apartment hadn’t been rented in 8 months. And when she did manage to get a tenant, the energy in the space seemed to make them move out before the lease even matured. It was as if something was silently repelling the income she wanted.
She asked me, “Is it something I’m not seeing?”
What Riya needed was a Property Energy Reset Ritual. Think of it as a spa treatment—not for your body, but for your property’s energy body. It’s not magic, it’s methodical.
🌿 What actually happens during a Property Energy Reset?
We start with a walkthrough—a sensitive energy sweep to understand which zones are blocked. We look at elements like:
-
Stale air flow in the North-East
-
Improper placement of furniture
-
Bathroom/kitchen imbalance
-
Dead corners (no light, no energy, no use)
Then we incorporate ancient Vastu techniques—like pran pratistha (life-breath awakening), aroma infusion, and energy activators using natural elements like salt, citrus, and sacred mantras.
But more than just rituals, it’s about relationship. Your property has memory. It holds on to the trauma of fights, financial distress, old habits, and unhappy tenants. This ritual is a loving reset—a cleansing that allows for rebirth.
🔁 Questions:
Would you stay in your own rental?
Seriously ask yourself this. Would you pay the rent you’re asking? Would you walk in and feel welcome, calm, protected? Or does your space feel like it’s just... sitting there?
How does a consultation transform landlord confidence?
There’s a kind of power that comes with clarity. And that’s what this ritual gives.
When landlords see their space not as a piece of land, but as a living energy matrix, they make better choices—from paint colour to pricing.
You’re no longer just “hoping” for a good tenant—you’re curating an energetic invitation.
Take Rajiv, for example. After one of our consultations, he realised the mirror in his hallway reflected the toilet door—instantly draining prosperity energy (as per Vastu shastra). He fixed it with a partition and some soft lighting. Within two weeks, his property—which had been lying dormant—got two competitive offers.
Confidence is magnetic. And when a landlord feels aligned, that confidence reflects in every WhatsApp message, showing, and lease agreement.
What are success stories from energy-reset clients?
One of my favourites? A Delhi-based doctor who inherited a crumbling two-BHK and thought it was a cursed asset. We reset its layout, cleared its dead corners with citrus and salt, activated the Northeast corner with a tulsi plant, and shifted the bed in the master bedroom away from the South wall. Within 45 days, he had an NRIs family renting long-term—on his terms.
Or Jyoti aunty, in Vasai. Her tenants always fought. Like clockwork. Energy reset + lemon corners + sacred ash—problem disappeared.
Real people. Real homes. Real transformation.
Why is this the right time to raise both rent and energy?
Let’s address the elephant in the room—timing.
The Indian real estate sector is witnessing a post-COVID recalibration. More people are renting. More digital nomads, retirees, students, and short-term workers are exploring lifestyle locations beyond Tier 1 cities. According to Knight Frank’s 2024 India Market Report, mid-range residential rentals have increased by 12–18% in cities like Goa, Ahmedabad, and Pune in the last year alone.
Now’s the moment. You’re not being greedy—you’re being aligned.
👉 When you raise rent in tandem with an energy uplift, it feels earned, not imposed.
👉 When your property feels premium, the price makes sense.
👉 When energy flows, money follows.

🔁 Questions:
What does your rental say to incoming energy?
Is it saying, “Welcome, live here, thrive here”?
Or is it saying, “Just give me your rent and go”?
Where can you learn more about energy alignment and landlords?
Let’s say you’re vibing with this idea, but not sure where to start. Maybe you’re still thinking, “Isn’t this all a bit woo-woo?”
That’s fair.
But let me tell you this: energy speaks louder than listings.

How does Vastu to attract tenants fit into long-term ROI?
I’ve seen this too often: landlords chase quick wins—fast leases, minimal upgrades, and random price hikes. But if you’re in this for legacy, for recurring income, and not just numbers, you need something deeper. You need alignment.
This is where Vastu for rental income plays a starring role.
Let’s say your East-facing door opens to a wall. That blocks opportunity.
Or your bed is placed in the South-East, the fire zone—it breeds restlessness.
Now, do these things cause problems on their own? Not necessarily. But imagine this: your property is a musical instrument. If even one string is off, the whole tune feels wrong. Tenants may not consciously “know” what’s wrong—but they feel it. And they don’t stay.
By applying Vastu tips for landlords strategically, you’re not just creating a better home—you’re creating a longer-term investment model that thrives. Think fewer vacancies. Happier tenants. Higher rent.
I had a client who couldn’t rent her Airbnb B&B in Udaipur for months. After realigning the headboard, adding a water feature near the North, and using bamboo in the courtyard, she became fully booked for three straight months.
That’s not a miracle. That’s spiritual real estate in action.
And let’s face it—legacy isn’t about owning more. It’s about owning wisely.
What weekly habits maintain high rental energy?
Energy maintenance isn’t a one-time ritual—it’s a lifestyle.
Here’s what I teach all my clients: sacred maintenance = sacred income.
If you can spare even 15 minutes a week, try this ritual routine:
-
Smudge the entrance with frankincense or camphor smoke. This clears stagnant energy.
-
Lemon water wipe-downs for doorknobs, windows, and corners.
-
Play mantras or instrumental classical music on low volume—even if the home is empty.
-
Salt corners (a small bowl of sea salt in the four corners of the house)—change them every Saturday.
Why does this matter? Because a space that feels loved, attracts love.
Even when vacant, your home should not feel forgotten. An energetic space says, “I’m ready to serve,” and that energy magnetises the right tenant at the right time.
Many of my Airbnb hosts now maintain this weekly routine as part of their standard prep.

FAQs
Q1: Can Vastu really affect how much rent I receive?
Yes, especially when it comes to alignment of entrance, money zones, and sleeping directions. Vastu enhances harmony, which naturally draws wealth and better offers.Q2: How often should a Property Energy Reset be done?
Once every 6 months is ideal, but before any new listing or lease signing is highly recommended.Q3: What if I live far from my rental property?
We offer virtual consultations using video walkthroughs, floorplans, and photos. Energy knows no bounds.
Q4: Can Vastu help if my property has a history of legal or family disputes?
Absolutely. Those are usually signs of deeper energetic scars, and Vastu rituals can aid in healing those histories.
Q5: Will I need to spend a lot on changes?
Most Vastu fixes I recommend are cost-effective and involve rearrangement, natural elements, and intent—not major construction.
When I help a landlord shift a space, I don’t just see walls and windows—I see stories waiting to unfold. Your rental isn’t just a business—it’s a container of service. When it’s aligned, it doesn’t just bring you money. It brings you peace, purpose, and a tenant who treats your space like their own.
Let’s build more than profit. Let’s build a legacy.
Let’s make your property say hi to opportunity.
Designing rental properties that attract abundance energetically

Through Vastu wisdom, sacred design rituals, and emotional storytelling, learn how to attract tenants who bring peace, pay on time, and treat your space with care and respect.
Spiritual Vastu for rentals—how to energetically align your property to attract the right tenants, income, and peace using ancient, heart-led methods.
Why do some rentals have constant issues—no matter how modern they are?
I once visited a brand-new 3BHK rental in Pune. Perfect tiles. Glossy paint. Smart locks. But you know what struck me?
It felt…off.
The moment I stepped in, I sensed a hollowness—like the house had never been hugged. The landlord, a kind but overwhelmed man, shared his woes: two tenants in the past year, both left early. One refused to pay the last two months’ rent. The other left in tears after frequent “bad dreams” in the bedroom.
And yet, nothing was technically wrong.
Here’s the truth: Some properties look perfect but carry the weight of energetic noise.
These are the homes with:
-
Frequent repairs (especially plumbing and lighting)
-
Argumentative or emotionally unstable tenants
-
Sudden unexplained tenant dropouts
-
Repeated legal or documentation errors
You can update fittings, repaint the walls, even reduce the rent—but until the energy is addressed, the pattern continues.
These homes often carry:
-
Residual emotional energy (from arguments, stress, fear)
-
Architectural imbalance (wrong entrances, cluttered corners, Vastu misalignments)
-
Neglected spiritual hygiene (no blessing rituals, no energetic maintenance)
Even if you don’t “believe” in energy, your tenants do feel it. People pick up on tension unconsciously. They don’t say, “The vastu is wrong,” but they do say, “I didn’t sleep well here.”
🔁 Journal Prompt:
What has your property been holding onto emotionally?
Loss? Fear? Rush? Is it time to give it a fresh soul?
How does energetic harmony bring peaceful tenants (and fewer late payments)?
There’s an unspoken truth in property management no one talks about: people behave better in aligned spaces.
I had a client in South Delhi—a soft-spoken art teacher named Avni. Her tenant always delayed rent. There were loud late-night calls, strange guests, and constant neighbour complaints.
She called me saying, “I feel like my house is constantly disturbed—even when it’s someone else living there.”
So, we checked the layout. Turns out the master bedroom was in the South-East corner (the fire zone), and the main entrance opened to a dark, narrow hallway with no natural light. The house felt like a maze, energetically. No wonder the tenant was erratic—it encouraged chaos.
We:
-
Shifted the tenant to the North-West room.
-
Added light-enhancing mirrors to the hallway.
-
Placed calming symbols (lotus, earth-tone paintings) in shared spaces.
-
Did a simple lemon-salt cleansing ritual.
Within two months, the energy and the tenant shifted. Rent started arriving on time. The tenant became noticeably calmer—and even sent a thank-you message to Avni!
When the energy supports peace, people feel safe. When people feel safe, they behave better.
🔁 Ask Yourself:
Would you feel emotionally stable living in your rental? Would your nervous system feel calm—or constantly on edge?
What Vastu principles work best for entrances, bedrooms, and toilets in rentals?
Now, let’s get into the real structure—the skeleton of sacred rentals.
🏠 Entrances (Your Home’s First Energy Portal)
-
Best directions: North-East or East-facing
-
Avoid: South-West entrances—they attract heavy karmic loads
-
Fixes for bad entrances:
-
Add a green plant or light above the door
-
Use sacred symbols like Om, Swastika, or Shubh Labh on the door
-
Hang a small wind chime just inside the entrance to disperse energy evenly
-
The door is where energy enters your home. A confused, blocked or shadowy entrance repels prosperity—both metaphorically and energetically.
🛏️ Bedrooms (Where Energy Rests)
-
Master bedroom: Ideal in the South-West
-
Guest or tenant bedroom: North-West works best (especially for short stays)
-
Avoid placing beds under beams, or facing directly out of the door
-
Use soft colours—earthy tones, pastels, gentle blues or pinks to soothe emotions
Add a grounding item in every bedroom—like a salt lamp, a crystal, or a small water feature image to promote emotional balance.
🚽 Toilets (Where Energy Drains)
Toilets are necessary—but they must be energetically contained.
-
Keep toilet doors closed always
-
Use indoor plants like snake plant or money plant to absorb negativity
-
Place a bowl of sea salt behind the door to neutralise draining vibes
-
If possible, avoid toilets in the North-East or centre of the house
One B&B owner I know saw a 40% drop in refund requests just by fixing the toilet's Vastu placement with a few salt, colour, and lighting tweaks.
What is sacred design in Airbnbs and short-term rentals—and why does it matter?
Let’s pause and ask: what’s the real difference between a house and a home?
A home holds you. A home sees you. And even if your guests are only staying for two nights, they can feel whether a space invites them to exhale—or keeps them energetically bracing.
As someone who consults for multiple Airbnb hosts across India, I’ve come to realise this: aesthetics alone don’t generate five-star reviews—energy does.
A perfectly decorated space with cold, scattered vibes will always underperform. But even a simple, humble cottage can feel like heaven if the energy is aligned.
🪔 Sacred design isn’t about trends—it’s about resonance.
Designing sacred short-term rentals begins with intentional energetics, not Instagrammable cushions.
Here’s what I advise every host and investor who’s ready to level up:
🌱 1. Start with the story
What story is your space telling?
-
Is it a space of rest and rejuvenation?
-
Is it a sacred pause on someone’s long journey?
-
Is it a soul-haven for remote workers and seekers?
Naming that story helps you align the design.
For example, a cottage in McLeod Ganj told the story of “Mountain Silence.” We used prayer flags, a low bookshelf of spiritual reads, and meditation floor cushions in the corner. Guests said they came for the mountain—but stayed for the energy.
🖼️ 2. Use symbolic decor (not just pretty things)
Add decor that holds meaning:
-
A framed quote that invokes peace
-
Brass bells near the entrance (for sound cleansing)
-
A mandala rug in the common space
-
Coconut shell bowls, incense holders, or elements from nature
One host I worked with added a tiny copper Kalash (filled with water and tulsi leaves) to their entrance table. It wasn’t “luxe”—but the energy felt holy. Bookings soared.
🛏️ 3. Balance the five elements (Pancha Tattva)
Short-term guests come with different energies. Some leave chaos behind. Your role is to maintain elemental balance.
-
Earth (Prithvi): Use wooden textures, earthy floor mats, ceramic bowls.
-
Water (Jal): Include a tabletop fountain, water jar in copper, or images of lakes.
-
Fire (Agni): Use warm lighting, scented candles, or a diya at dusk.
-
Air (Vayu): Encourage fresh air flow, wind chimes, cotton curtains.
-
Ether (Akash): Declutter! Leave empty space for energy to breathe.
🌬️ 4. Energy-cleansing between guests is a non-negotiable
Here’s what most Airbnb hosts don’t realise: your space holds imprints of your guests.
Whether they had a fight, cried themselves to sleep, or just left in a hurry—that energy lingers.
That’s why energy-cleansing after every check-out is just as important as changing the sheets.
Simple post-checkout rituals I swear by:
-
Burn camphor or sage from room to room
-
Wipe down surfaces with lemon-salt water
-
Light a diya for 3 minutes while saying a silent “thank you”
-
Leave a bowl of rice in the South corner for 24 hours (absorbs negativity)
These practices help the space reset. It’s like a sacred exhale. Guests might not know what changed—but they’ll write reviews like, “I felt really calm here… don’t know why.”
💫 Real-life story: The House of 108
One of my Airbnb clients branded their guesthouse in Rishikesh as “The House of 108.” They didn’t overdo the decor. A mala hung by the window. Quiet music played in the evenings. Every bed had a cushion embroidered with a Sanskrit word like Shanti or Arogya.
That property is now booked three months in advance—with spiritual seekers, yoga trainers, and conscious travellers. That’s sacred design in motion.
🔁 Journal reflection:
If your rental could speak, what would it whisper to your guests the moment they walk in?
Your property’s vibrations are far more powerful than your listings. For deeper insight into how your space’s frequency impacts your income and guest experience, explore:
🔗 How Your Real Estate Vibes Determine Everything
Why is energy-cleansing between guests the most overlooked secret to B&B success?
Let’s get honest—clean sheets and a pine-scented bathroom spray can’t mask the emotional residue left behind by your guests.
If you’ve ever walked into a perfectly clean space that still felt... heavy, weird, or just off—you’ve already felt the impact of uncleansed energy.
Here’s what I’ve learned after working with B&B owners, homestay hosts, and short-term landlords across India: emotional residue is real, and ignoring it is costing you more than you know.
One of my Airbnb clients in Parra, Goa had a stunning colonial-style villa. Top reviews, professional photography, and yet—suddenly—the bookings slowed down. Guests stopped responding to follow-ups. Ratings dipped. The host, Aakash, was puzzled.
When we did a remote energetic scan, what came up was a strong “emotional weight” in the master suite. We later found out a guest couple had a long, emotionally explosive stay there—a breakup, loud fights, tears. The space had absorbed all of it.
It wasn’t the furniture. It was the frequency.
🌀 Here’s what energy-cleansing does:
-
Releases past emotional imprinting
-
Prepares the space to receive new, higher-aligned energy
-
Signals to the universe: “This space is sacred, and it matters”
-
Boosts the likelihood of return guests, better reviews, and respectful occupants
🕯️ Rituals I recommend to clients after every guest checkout:
-
Salt Sweep: Sprinkle sea salt at thresholds and in corners, then sweep out after 20 minutes.
-
Citrus Wash: Mop with water, fresh lime juice, and a pinch of rock salt—energetic disinfection.
-
Clap Cleanse: Clap three times in each room corner while saying “Release, reset, receive.”
-
Camphor Ceremony: Light camphor in a brass bowl, walking from room to room to burn off residual energy.
-
Rice Corner Offering: Place raw rice in the South-West corner overnight to absorb stress.
And always, always light a diya for 108 seconds after cleansing. It’s your property’s sacred reboot.
🔁 Ask Yourself:
Am I only cleaning what the eye can see—or am I cleaning what the soul can feel?
🧘♀️ Reminder: People come to your property to rest, celebrate, heal, escape, or reconnect.
Your space becomes their altar. Are you preparing it like one?
This is the unseen magic behind successful Airbnbs and B&Bs. The ones that get felt, not just seen.
🌍 BONUS TIP: Host Alignment = Home Alignment
The energy of your home reflects your state of mind as a host too.
If you're stressed, rushed, or resentful while resetting the space—it absorbs that. That’s why I ask every host to do a short gratitude meditation before they prep their property. “Thank you, home, for holding others in peace.”
Do that. Watch what happens next.

🛎️ Message to My Tribe:
You’re not managing a listing. You’re stewarding a temple.
You’re not just a landlord. You’re a guardian of resonance.
This is what separates five-star hosts from forgettable ones. It’s not the extra towels. It’s the extra soul.
What kind of energy do you want your property to hold? (Rental Vastu Journal Prompt)
Let’s slow down. Breathe.
Before we change the curtains, repaint walls, or add wind chimes…
Let’s go within.
I ask every landlord, host, and investor I work with to start here—with this exact journal prompt:
“What kind of energy do I want my property to hold?”
Because your intentions become the invitation.
🧘 Here’s why this prompt changes everything:
Too often, we focus only on numbers:
-
“What’s the ROI?”
-
“What’s the average rent?”
-
“How quickly will it lease?”
All important questions—but not foundational ones.
What if your space could:
-
Help someone sleep peacefully for the first time in months?
-
Hold a couple as they reconnect during a sacred getaway?
-
Inspire a digital nomad to write their first book?
-
Help a tired parent feel safe again?
Your property is not just walls and wiring. It’s a vibrational vessel.
And the energy you program it with echoes through every interaction.
📓 Suggested journal flow:
-
Reflect on your own real estate story.
Was your first property purchase joyful? Or stressful?
Did you grow up around housing instability, or was your childhood home a temple? -
Write down five emotional qualities you want your space to carry.
Examples: Safety. Joy. Stillness. Generosity. Lightness. -
Create an energy statement for your property.
Think of this like a sacred branding. For example:
“This is a space of renewal. People who enter here feel seen, soothed, and energised.” -
Identify one change to align with that energy.
It could be adding a fresh colour, moving a bed, blessing the door, or playing soft music.
🛖 Case Reflection: Mulund Soul Home
A student of mine inherited a 2BHK in Mulund, Mumbai—technically a great location, but emotionally cold. Tenants never stayed beyond 6 months. The vibe was transactional.
We journaled together. Her words?
“I want this home to be someone’s first taste of freedom.”
With that one sentence, everything changed.
We added a small plant shelf at the window.
Switched the sharp LED lights to warm yellows.
And placed a small bowl of rose petals by the bathroom sink.
Today, she’s fully rented. Her tenants call the home “their happy place.”
📍Want to explore emotionally aligned investment spaces? Discover why Mulund may be Mumbai’s most promising suburb for soul-aligned growth.
🔁 Journal Now:
What emotional imprint do I want to leave on every person who lives or stays in my property?
Not just the rent they paid. But the energy they felt.
The healing they received. The safety they experienced.
Because that—that’s legacy.
What symbolic décor actually attracts prosperity (and what should you avoid)?
Design, in its highest form, isn’t just about beauty—it’s a language. And in the world of energetics, every object placed with purpose becomes a whisper to the universe.
As someone who’s helped landlords across India activate their spaces energetically, I often say this:
“Every item in your rental is either amplifying abundance—or dulling it.”
🌿 Here’s what to place with purpose:
1. Sacred Symbols at the Entrance
-
Swastika or Om: Traditional Vastu symbols to protect the doorway and invite divine blessings.
-
Lotus Motif: Symbolises detachment from negativity and rising into purity.
-
Brass Bell or Wind Chime: Sound clears stagnant air; their gentle ring invites movement and joy.
📍 Pro tip: Always place these at eye level, clean them regularly, and never hang broken or rusted bells.
2. Mirrors for Energy Amplification
-
In Vastu, mirrors are double-edged. They reflect energy—both good and bad.
-
Ideal placement: North or East walls.
-
Never place mirrors opposite toilets or beds (they reflect draining or sleeping energy).
Want to reflect abundance? Place a mirror where it reflects:
-
A dining table (symbolising nourishment)
-
A plant or natural light source
-
A clean, spacious corner
3. Plants with Prosperity Vibes
-
Tulsi (Holy Basil): Spiritual cleanser, best placed in the North-East.
-
Money Plant: Self-explanatory! Encourage upward growth—support it with string, not wires.
-
Snake Plant: Absorbs toxins; great for indoor corners that feel “off.”
Avoid:
-
Artificial plants (they symbolise stagnation)
-
Dried flowers (symbolise dead energy)
-
Thorny plants (except roses, and only in moderation)
4. Water Symbols
-
Flowing water = flowing wealth
-
Add a tabletop fountain or image of rivers/lakes in the North or North-East.
Avoid stagnant water. A dry fountain, or unused fish tank? Energetic dead weight.
5. Colour as an Energetic Code
-
Gold, green, and red attract abundance and action.
-
Blue and white calm guests and create clarity (great for work-from-rental vibes).
-
Avoid all-grey rooms—it dulls emotional energy unless balanced with vibrant accents.
🖼️ One landlord’s decor story…
Deepika, an investor in Himachal, had trouble getting repeat bookings. The house looked cute, but people often described it as “forgettable.”
We added:
-
A painting of a banyan tree near the entrance (symbol of grounded abundance)
-
A floor mandala made of hand-painted tiles at the centre of the living space
-
A brass diya on a small altar with a framed quote: “May all who enter be held in peace.”
Now her reviews say things like:
“Felt like I was staying in a temple of joy.”
“Couldn’t explain why—but I left feeling healed.”
⚠️ And what should you absolutely avoid?
-
Broken clocks – they symbolise stuck time and stuck finances.
-
Sharp-edge furniture – especially in corners; soften with cloth or curves.
-
Images of sadness, war, or isolation – unless you want to attract drama or loneliness.
-
Storage under beds – especially unused items; they trap stale memories.
Your space listens. Don’t ask for prosperity while storing emotional dust.
🔁 Journal reflection:
If your décor could talk, what kind of life would it invite? What emotions would it describe?
Is your home shouting stress… or singing serenity?
How to perform a rental blessing prayer that magnetises peace and prosperity?
Let me tell you what I’ve seen over and over:
The homes that are blessed… behave differently.
They hold tenants longer. They experience fewer issues. Their owners worry less. And it’s not luck—it’s frequency.
Think of it like this: You wouldn’t let a new car run without a registration ritual or prayer, right?
Why should a home—something far more alive—go unblessed?
A Rental Blessing Prayer is your way of saying:
“This home is sacred. It serves with love. And it welcomes only what is aligned.”
I’ve helped dozens of landlords, both spiritual and sceptical, perform this prayer. And it shifts everything.
🌿 Here’s a simple rental blessing ritual you can perform with intention
You don’t need to be religious. You just need to be real.
🪔 What you’ll need:
-
A brass or clay diya (lamp) with ghee or oil
-
Fresh flowers (marigold or jasmine)
-
A small bowl of raw rice
-
A pinch of turmeric and kumkum (optional but powerful)
-
Camphor or incense
-
A photo or symbol of what you consider sacred (a deity, nature, your ancestors, a guiding quote)
🛕 Step-by-step:
-
Clean the space first.
Do a basic mop with lemon water, light a stick of incense, and air the rooms. Let energy move. -
Stand at the main entrance.
Light the diya. Hold it up near your heart. Breathe deeply. Set your intention.Say aloud or silently:
“May this home be a shelter of light, peace, and abundance.
May those who enter feel held, respected, and renewed.
May it attract only those aligned with its purpose.
I honour the land, the walls, and the lives it will hold.” -
Place rice at the four corners of the home.
A symbolic offering to the space. You can wrap them in cloth or leave in bowls overnight. -
Walk room by room, clapping softly or ringing a bell.
Feel the energy. If a room feels heavy, pause there. Light another incense stick if needed. -
End at the entrance again.
Place a flower at the threshold. Touch the ground and say thank you.
🙏 A word of truth: You can’t fake sincerity.
This doesn’t need to be Instagrammable. It needs to be intentional. You don’t need 20 candles or Sanskrit mantras if you don’t resonate. You just need a full heart.
Even just placing your hand on the wall and saying, “I honour you. Thank you for holding people safely,” can shift the energy.
✨ A small real-life miracle:
A client of mine in Pune was struggling to rent out her duplex. After we did a blessing ritual together virtually, within three weeks, she got a tenant who prepaid for the entire year. The family was moving from out of town and told her:
“This house feels like it wants us to live here.”
🔁 Journal Prompt:
Have you ever said thank you to your rental property?
Not for the income—but for the energy it’s held?
What do successful B&B hosts with high-vibe properties actually do differently? (Case Studies)
Let me take you into the lives of three clients—three very different properties. But each of them shows that when space meets spirit, miracles feel like business as usual.
🏡 Case Study 1: The Bamboo Cottage in Bhimtal
Host: Jee
Vibe before: Constant cancellations. Guests complained of “weird dreams,” cold vibes, and restlessness.
When I visited virtually, I noticed:
-
The bedroom was facing South-East (fire zone) and painted in a harsh red tone.
-
Mirrors faced the bed directly.
-
No welcoming energy at the entrance—just a heavy iron gate and concrete steps.
What we changed:
-
Moved the bed to face East, introduced calming blue-green tones.
-
Added a small rosemary plant with a diya at the entrance.
-
Used lemongrass aroma post-guest checkout.
Results?
Bookings surged. Jee now has regular guests who return every season. One recent review said:
“The minute I entered, I knew I was in a healing place.”
🌴 Case Study 2: Portuguese Villa in Assagao, Goa
Host: Neel & Kiara
Vibe before: Good bookings but bad guests—rowdy, careless, draining the vibe.
Their mistake?
They were only focusing on style—boho décor, photoshoots, Instagram corners—but ignoring spiritual hygiene.
Our alignment strategy:
-
Salt corners refreshed weekly.
-
Sacred “no-shoes-inside” policy implemented.
-
Prayer said at check-in: “May this home receive and give peace.”
What happened?
They started attracting a new kind of guest—quiet, respectful, soulful. A yoga teacher booked for three months and said, “This house became my temple.”
Today, their occupancy rate is 95%. But more importantly, they feel good hosting.

🧘♂️ Case Study 3: Studio Apartment in Mulund, Mumbai
Host: Sange
Vibe before: Stuck. No bookings despite low rent. Apartment felt “stale.”
What we found:
-
Over 8 unused appliances stored under the bed.
-
A broken wall clock left behind the TV.
-
Zero natural light in the entrance corridor.
Fixes:
-
Decluttered immediately.
-
Added a wall mirror to reflect morning light.
-
Simple gratitude prayer performed each morning before opening the app for booking management.
What shifted?
Within two weeks, he got his first 5-star review. Then another. Then a month-long booking.
But here’s what he told me that I’ll never forget:
“For the first time, I feel like my home and I are on the same team.”

🌟 The common thread?
Each of these hosts:
-
Treated their space like a soul, not a spreadsheet.
-
Used Vastu as a language of compassion, not control.
-
Shifted from chasing guests to inviting the right ones energetically.
They realised something profound:
You don’t need 100 bookings a month.
You need the right ones—aligned, generous, grateful.
🔁 Journal Prompt:
What kind of people do I truly want to host—and how does my space currently reflect that?
How can you start your rental vastu journal—and why do you absolutely need one?
You don’t need a fancy leather notebook.
You just need a page, a pen, and a willingness to see your space through new eyes.
Because your property isn’t just bricks and rent—it’s a reflection of your energetic blueprint.
And every time you journal about it, you realign your intention.
✍️ What is a rental vastu journal?
It’s a sacred logbook where:
-
You track energy shifts in your rental property
-
You document changes (rituals, décor, colour, layout)
-
You reflect on tenant experiences, patterns, and upgrades
-
You write prayers, intentions, and even frustrations
Think of it like a health diary—but for your home.
💡 What to include:
-
Property Soul Statement
“This home holds space for _______.”
-
Current Energy Observation
-
How does the home feel today?
-
-
What Ritual or Adjustment Did I Try?
-
Eg: Placed lemon in corners, changed bedsheet colour, decluttered altar.
-
-
Tenant Vibe or Guest Feedback
-
What did they say, feel, or write in their review?
-
-
Next Alignment Intention
-
What do I want this home to hold more of?
-
📓 Why it matters:
This journal becomes your mirror.
It shows you what works.
What doesn’t.
What themes repeat.
And more importantly, it helps you become a conscious landlord—the kind who doesn’t just want money, but meaning.
🧭 A reminder:
Every home you own or host becomes an extension of your energy.
Make it intentional. Make it loving. Make it luminous.
Start the journal.
And if you already keep one—bless it.
Hold it close.
Let it guide you.
🌈You came here looking for ways to raise your rent.
What you found was a new way to raise your energy.
To raise your standards.
To raise the frequency of what you’re willing to hold and host.
Your home is your prayer. Your space is your offering.
Let it be sacred.
Let it be strong.
Let it shine with a light only you could have placed there.
🙋♀️ FAQs
Q1: I’m not spiritual—can I still apply these ideas?
Absolutely. Spirituality here just means intentionality. Even placing fresh flowers with care is energy work. How long before I see results after energy alignment?
Some see changes in 48 hours. Others take weeks. Energy shifts at the pace of your openness and consistency.Q3: I rent properties but don’t live in them. Will this still work?
Yes! You don’t need to live in the space. Your intention, even from afar, is powerful when backed with action.
Q4: What if tenants don’t treat the home with respect?
That’s a deeper alignment issue—likely an energetic mismatch. Use your journal to track tenant energy and adjust space before the next lease.
