Spicy street food

We all love eating street food items? But here’s how you can prepare these yummy and tantalizing dishes at your home only! I am sure you would love these recipes! • Batata vada: Ingredients to prepare batata vada: 150gm gram flour, ½ tsp red chili powder, 300 gm potatoes, ½ tsp soda-bi-carbonate, 8 green chilies, 1 cup curd, 1 tsp sugar, 2 tsp garam masala powder, 1 tsp garlic paste, salt to taste, 2 tsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp green chopped coriander, ½ tsp turmeric powder Method to prepare batata vada: Boil potatoes and peel them off. Mash nicely. Add sugar, green coriander, green chilies, salt, lemon juice, garam masala powder and garlic together in a grinder. Grind nicely and then mix this paste with mashed potatoes. Divide the whole mixture into 15 parts. Prepare rounds balls from each of them. Mix gram flour with red chili powder, soda-bi-carbonate, salt and water to prepare a thick paste. Moroccan Rice

Ingredients Long grain basmati rice - 350 grams Pre cooked refined oil - 1 tbsp Onion, peeled and chopped 1 Garlic, peeled & crushed - 2 cloves Coriander seeds 1 tbsp Cumin seeds 1/4 tbsp Freshly grated nut meg 1/4 tbsp Lamb mince 250 grams tomatoes 400 grams (chopped) water 300 ml apricots 125 grams (chopped) pepper, salt to taste Preparation Heat refined oil in a large pan. Add the chopped onion & fry for 6 minutes Make a paste of coriander seeds, garlic and cumin seeds Add onion and cook for 4 minutes. Add the lamb and fry for 6 minutes Add water and tomatoes and boil Now, its time to add salt, pepper, apricots and allow the dish to simmer for 18 minutes Now transfer the rice to the pan and cook for around 12 minutes. Prep: 20-25 minutes Bake: 30 minutes Makes - 4 servings Ingredients Boneless fish - 500 grams Lemon juice - 1 tsp Sooji - 1/2 cup Salt, Pepper - to taste Olive oil - 2 tbsp Tomato puree - 2 tbsp Honey - 1 tsp Green chillies - 2 (chopped) Coriander - a bunch ( chopped) Spring Onions - 2 (chopped) 1) Marinate the fish for around 15 minutes with lemon juice. 2) Sift the sooji with pepper and salt. Pure in the olive oil and mix well to form a dough. 3) Knead in the tomato puree and the honey,with coriander, onions and green chilies . 4) Grease the baking dish well with butter.
